Went for a good old haiku for this weeks tankatuesday.
I button my coat
Windy winter weather blows
Snowy meadow walk
I wish! I usually enjoy the differences in the seasons, but I am not fond of the grey, cold, windy winter we are having. I have always felt if it is going to be cold there may as well be snow!
Love your haiku, Mark. With the alliteration, it’s even more special!

Amen on that. Winter isn’t winter without snow.

I’m not a fan of cold or dreary either, Mark! Great poem!

I agree about the weather. Grey rain is depressing. It’s been two years since we’ve had measurable snow–that’s crazy. (K)

Mark, your haiku vividly paints a wintry scene with simplicity and elegance. Well done! ❄️🚶♂️

Same here, Mark! Mid-Michigan has only had a skiff of snow. We’ve had plenty of rain through!

Very nicely done Mark, I agree I am tired of the wet, cold greyness….it’s seems set to stay though 💜
