I am the author of Tao of Thoreau. My book is a melding of the ancient Tao philosophy with the revered thinking of Henry David Thoreau. I demonstrate a clear connection between these two ways of thinking. Even better, the merger reveals spiritual and pracitical paths that can assist anyone on their journey. I confidently say this because my sources are tested, revered and true.

Self of Steam is inspired by student mistakes. Titles like … give you a sense of that I was on the look out that may be wrong for the essay, but is right poems.

Bio

I have been writing since I was 12, when I first read “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings.” I was enthralled by the thought of being able to create my own world in writing. I still am.

I have taught English at the middle and high school level for 28 years. I have been playing Ultimate Frisbee since 1988, and I am proud to have been on teams that qualified for the National Championship Tournament 4 times. Ultimate shares my values of fair, honest competition, where players strive for victory while maintaining respect for the game and for each other.

I am married to Patty Krawiec Bozeman, who I dedicated Self of Steam to. She believed in my poetry before I did, which I will always be thankful for.

Together, we are madly in love with our dog Anna.
