For this challenge I used the Kigo list to almost entirely create my poem.
The sharpness of the stars is one of the joys of the season; the quality of darkness intensified by the contrast with pinpoint light.
Bright clear winter moon
Shining with cold and clear stars
Cold and clear frost gleams
As always I enjoy responding to tankstuesday challenges.

Cold and clear repetition does a good job of emphasizing its dominance on the scene. I wondered if winter would ever get here and it has with a vengeance. That said I’m relieved it’s here.

Like Lisa, I like the reptition of the cold and clear kigo phrase. It really helps to emphasize the season and the feel of the season.
