The challenge this week is to use one of the “animal collective nouns” from this list. I chose “gaggle of geese” because I have spent so much time observing their behavior at a local park.
The gaggle of geese Babble as they rise above. Noise drowns out jet's roar.

They can get loud for sure. I usually see them in passing, walking along and pulling up new grass shoots.

I love it! A gaggle of geese works great as a kigo (season word) for autumn. The kigo is the most important part of the haiku. Drawing our attention to the sound of the geese is wonderful imagery!
